Dedicated to Helping Our Community
Fighting Chance with EKM is our official 501c3 non-profit that works with individuals and organizations that fight Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking. We believe we have a duty to help those in need. We offer self-defense seminars and individual training to those who are helping fight these issues and those who have been victims. Our goal is to use Krav Maga to empower the disenfranchised. We have trained groups locally and around the world.
Mission Statement
The mission of Fighting Chance with EKM is to empower survivors of abuse and domestic violence with techniques that enable them to defend themselves and build situational awareness, confidence, and self-esteem.

Use of Funds/Plan of Procedure
With your donation, Fighting Chance with EKM will continue its self-defense training in the Memphis area for those who are recovering and/or still dealing with domestic violence, and will offer them training paid {entirely or in part, based on need}. The training will comprise three modules:
Module A: Seminars
Fighting Chance with EKM will offer regular seminars. Fighting Chance with EKM works with other local non-profits. These seminars are typically two hours long, cover a variety of defensive measures against violent physical attacks, such as strikes, and releases from common attack methods, such as chokes and bearhugs. These seminars are normally women-only and are lead by EKM’s female instructors.
Module B: Private Sessions
This module offers private training, which is an excellent way to train if a person’s schedule is unpredictable, or if a person wants to train at their own pace, or if they are uncomfortable with self-defense training in a group.
Module C: Regular Classes
EKM conducts a variety of classes teaching Krav Maga self-defense training and physical conditioning. We tailor our teaching to the needs and abilities of class participants. A rotating curriculum allows participants to enter the program at any time at any level.
